The University of Hyderabad will conduct entrance examination for PhD admissions into computer and electronic science on January 3.
The Department of Electronics and Information Technology, government of India, has conceived a scheme called “Visvesvaraya PhD scheme” to enhance the number of PhDs in electronic design and manufacturing and IT/IT
enabled services.
The PhD entrance examination will be held under this scheme. The University of Hyderabad has been sanctioned 10 seats, i.e. 8 seats in Computer Science and 2 in Electronics Science.
About 552 candidates are expected to appear for examination and the University has already sent the hall tickets to the candidates.
