UoH to coach minority communities, BC,SC and ST students for civil services

University of Hyderabad (UoH) would provide coaching to the students of BC, SC, ST and minority communities for civils services examinations for the first time this year.

The university is aiming at the preliminary examinations of the Union Public Service Commission to be held in June next year. About 100 students will be given



coaching to appear for the exams.

Though UoH has organised classes for students of underprivileged sections to attend competitive exams in the past, from this year onwards, it will put special focus on civil service examinations. The initiative has been taken on the directions of University Grants Commission (UGC).
