Verification for diploma in elementary education eased

A total of 17,815 untrained in-service teachers in the state of Telangana registered for Diploma in elementary education (D.El.Ed) offered by The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Admission of 2,500 candidates was not confirmed because of a



lack of verification by headmasters or principals. Now, on the request of teachers, the MHRD and NIOS authorities have allowed verification by opening a window for verification by a principal on the website: www.dled-.nios.ac.in.
