Deepika Padukone’s Hollywood debut xXx: Return of Xander Cage has become the world’s highest-grossing film of 2017 with collections exceeding $310 million. Converted to rupees, that figure amounts to Rs 2075 crore.
According to latest figures by Box Office Mojo, the action sequel continued to do
record breaking business in China, where its total stands at $137 million after just two weeks in release. It’s North America figures however, are underwhelming. Since its release in mid-January, the film has made just $44 million, which amounts to only 14% of the worldwide total of the $85 million budgeted film.
