The mood at the San Francisco International Film Festival was euphoric today with chants of Shah Rukh Khan and King Khan filling the air. The Bollywood superstar attended the film festival and had a long conversation with Hollywood director Brett Ratner. During this heartfelt interview, in presence of hundreds of fans, SRK revealed that his dream was to work for the betterment of acid attack victims.
Shah Rukh Khan said he reached this position in his life because women around him were kind to him. From his mother to sister, from his wife to daughter, SRK credited his success and stardom to their generosity. He added that there were women who were mistreated and expressed a desire to work for them.
The 51-year-old superstar said he wanted to help those women and wanted his daughter Suhana to take the legacy forward. King Khan revealed that when he met NRI doctors in the United
States who asked him what they could do for the country, he requested them to work for these women.
“Because I feel they are the most beautiful women in the world and no one deserves to be treated that way,” said Shah Rukh Khan.
That’s what makes him King Khan after all. By saying this, SRK has once again proved that he is all for women empowerment.
The live session on Twitter was a fun filled one. At one point of time, Brett had to get up to introduce himself and say he was the director of Rush Hour series because the crowd could not stop cheering for King Khan. The director told SRK, “I am excited to cast you and I promise you I’m gonna give you a great character”. To this SRK said he would have to give him a dance sequence because that is what his fans would love to see.
