Actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar on ventilator

Mumbai, October 27, 2014 (Agencies) Veteran Bollywood actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar who was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in critical state continues to remain on ventilator. The actor was admitted to the hospital following severe lung infection owing to fibroids developed in his lungs that made breathing difficult. His daughter Reema was quoted saying that her father has been responding well to medical treatment although he continues to remain on life support system owing to breathing difficulties.

Ever since reports



of Sadashiv Amrapurkar's  illness and hospitalization broke out, internet was flooded with false death rumours of the actor. RIP messages soon started floating around in social media prompting Reema to issue a clarification via Facebook where she wrote that her father is stable and requested people to not believe in rumours. Sadashiv Amrapurkar  villainous act in Ardh Satya in the 80s was prolific both in Hindi and Marathi cinema. His eunuch act in Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak is still seen as one of the best ever portrayal in Bollywood cinema.
