Veteran actor Raj Kishore, who is best remembered for playing one of the prisoners in the classic film 'Sholay' breathed his last on April 6, 2018. Reports suggest he suffered a heart attack early morning. He was 85.
According to Times of India, Kishore's last rites were performed at Aarey Crematorium in Mumbai this morning. The veteran actor has featured in several hit films in 60s, 70s and 80s, having worked with almost all the A-listers in Hindi cinema.
He has
starred in 'Sholay', 'Padosan', 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Patanga, Karishma Kudrat Kaa, Aasmaan, Bombay To Goa, Deewar, Ram Aur Shyam, and Karan Arjun to name a few.
In 'Sholay', he played one of the prisoners and the role is still etched strongly in memory of the fans.
Bollywood has lost some of the great actors in 2018. With Shammi Aunty aka Nargis Rabadi, Sridevi, Narendra Jha leaving this world for the heavenly abode, a void has been created which can never be filled again.
