Aanand L Rai shares Shah Rukh Khan's favourite meal

Film director Aanand L Rai, who worked with Shah Rukh Khan on the 2018 film Zero, recently shared what the actor mostly ate while working on the film for three years. He also talked about actor Akshay Kumar, with whom he collaborated on the film Raksha Bandhan, released in 2022. Aanand described Akshay as a person who doesn't like things "simple." He always wants to add "masala" to things.

Aanand, who was in a conversation with casting director Mukesh Chhabra for Mashable India, was shown a



photo of himself with Shah Rukh from the sets of Zero. Though in the picture it looked like the actor and the filmmaker were deep in conversation about a scene, Aanand clarified that was not the case. Instead, they were discussing their dinner for the evening.

When asked what Shah Rukh liked to eat, Aanand L Rai shared, "If you give Shah Rukh tandoori chicken, coffee, and one of his beverages, he could live on that meal forever. But if something is served with love, he’ll eat anything.”
