Aaradhya Bachchan moves High Court again seeking removal of fake videos online

The Delhi High Court on Monday issued a notice to search engine giant Google after Aaradhya Bachchan, the daughter of actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, filed a fresh plea seeking the removal of misleading information about her health from several websites.

The 13-year-old requested a summary judgment in her case concerning the circulation of misleading information. A summary judgment allows courts to



resolve civil cases quickly without requiring oral evidence.

It was argued that the YouTube uploaders failed to appear in court and had already lost their right to defend.

Aaradhya Bachchan filed the plea in a follow-up to an earlier High Court order, which had asked Google and other websites to remove fake news about her health.

The High Court will next hear the matter on March 17.
