Actor Mugdha Chaphekar separates from husband Ravish Desai after 9 years

TV actors Mugdha Chaphekar and Ravish Desai have announced their separation on social media with a note. The couple were married for nine years. They have now shared that they have been living apart for over a year and have mutually decided to part ways.

Ravish shared an official statement on Instagram, that read, "After much contemplation and thought, Mugdha and I decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. It’s been more than a year



now. We have had a beautiful journey together that of love, friendship and respect, and that would continue all our lives." He further requested privacy, asking fans and media to be kind and supportive and not to believe in any false stories.

Ravish Desai and Mugdha Chaphekar first met on the sets of Satrangi Sasural in 2014, where their on-screen chemistry turned into a real-life relationship. They married in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai in December 2016.
