Actor Srishty Rode joins the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show

Television actress Srishty Rode is all set to make a comeback on the small screen after 4 years. The actress was last seen on the reality show, Bigg Boss 12, hosted by Salman Khan. Prior to that, she was a part of Ishqbaaaz. Now, she will be seen attempting stand up comedy for the first time on The Kapil Sharma Show. Srishty Rode will be a part of TKSS' new season with Kapil Sharma and his team.

Expressing happiness over returning to work, Srishty told the Times Of India, "It is exciting to get back to work. The last four years have been tough and more than learning anything, I have realised that it is



important to be fit and make the most of it. In June 2021, I underwent surgery. Later, I suffered a fracture and was put on bedrest." The actress added that it was disheartening for her as she could not work like everyone else.

However, she seems excited to be back to work. And talking about her stint in The Kapil Sharma Show, the actress quipped, "I have done a comedy show earlier, but I will be doing standup comedy for the first time. I felt that I wanted to do something different and what better than Kapil's show. I have done many fiction shows, but this was an opportunity to do something different."
