Mumbai: Gone are the days when good acting chops were enough to become a successful Bollywood hero. A chiselled physique has become equally important today to establish oneself in the industry.
Salman Khan had started the trend of building six-pack abs and showing it off, and several other 40-plus actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan also followed suit and did so in their films.
Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor and John Abraham were the next to fall in line and the younger lot of actors, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Tiger Shroff entered the industry already with a well-built physique.
And another actor, who was known for his content-driven roles up till now, Sushant Singh Rajput, has also joined this list of actors.
Sushant has brought sexy back in the song 'Main Tera Boyfriend' from his upcoming film

'Raabta.'
Not only are his brilliant dance skills on display in the song, his chiselled body with the eight-pack washboard abs are definitely sending his fans into frenzy.
Says an industry source, "Sushant Singh Rajput's monster workout to achieve his all-new physique was documented in a video that became a rage as soon as it went viral. While every actor would hope to carry off a shirtless, bare-chested look, not everyone can. Salman Khan was the first one to start the trend and Hrithik Roshan too managed to create a massive impact. From the current generation, only Varun Dhawan and Sushant Singh Rajput have carried off the shirtless looks well, with Sushant pushing the envelope with his eight-pack abs. The actor hit the gym with a vengeance for the song and the results are for all to see. Currently, there is no arguing that he has the best body in the business."
