After submersible tragedy, Netflix to re-release 'Titanic'

It has only been a week since the Titanic submersible tragedy took place which resulted in the death of five people, including that of a teenager. Amid this news of tragedy, streaming giant Netflix has announced its plan of re-releasing the James Cameron directorial Titanic, as per Hollywood Reporter.

As soon as the news was shared, the internet slammed the move by the OTT platform and termed it



'tasteless.'

One user wrote, "So Netflix was like lets capitalize on this sub thing real quick...gone head and put TITANIC back in the rotation." Another person commented, "The titanic conspiracies will never end. Titanic movie 'coincidentally' released on Netflix around the same time that the devastating incident happened." Yet another individual wrote, "Titanic reportedly returning to Netflix. No. No chill. Tasteless."
