Ajay Devgn's cousin Anil Devgan breathed his last on Monday night. He was 51. The actor took to social media to inform his fans and followers. Anil, who started as an assistant director, directed films like Raju Chacha, Blackmail and Haal-e-Dil.
Sharing a photo of Anil Devgan, Ajay Devgn wrote, "I lost my brother Anil Devgan last night. His untimely demise has left our family heartbroken. ADFF & I will miss his presence dearly. Pray for his
soul. Due to the pandemic, we will not have a personal prayer meet (sic).”
Apart from directing films, Anil Devgn worked as the creative director of Ajay Devgn-starrer Son of Sardaar. He was the assistant director in films like Phool Aur Kaante, Jaan, Itihaas and Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha, among others.
Last year, Ajay Devgn lost his father, Veeru Devgan. The veteran action director suffered a cardiac arrest on May 27, 2019.
