Amitabh Bachchan's look of Ashwatthama in 'Kalki 2898 AD' unveiled

The makers of 'Kalki 2898 AD' shared the teaser of Amitabh Bachchan's look from the sci-fi dystopian film, after the thrilling Indian Premier League (IPL) match between KKR and RCB on Sunday, April 21. The veteran actor will be playing the role of Ashwatthama in the Nag Ashwin-directorial.

The 21-second promo video, premiered on Star Sports following the conclusion of the KKR vs RCB



match, begins with Amitabh Bachchan, dressed in earthy hues, in a cave, offering prayers to Shiva's linga. In the backdrop of soothing music, a child's voice is heard questioning him, "Can you not die? Are you divine? Who are you?"

Further in the teaser, Big B's character declares, "Since ancient times, I have awaited the arrival of the Avatar. I am Guru Drona’s son. Ashwatthama."
