Amitabh Bachchan’s Uunchai to have an OTT release on Jan 6

Uunchai, the heartfelt adventure drama movie released theatrically on November 11th 2022. It is still running in theatres and recently hit the fifty-day mark. The Bollywood film comes from the banner of Rajshri Productions and Sooraj Barjatya. The banner is known to deliver feel-good family entertainers such as Hum Aapke Hain Kuan, Maine Pyaar Kiya and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. It is running theatrically across 141 screens in India. Uunchai, is now soon going to stream online

Soon after its theatrical release, Uunchai’s OTT rights were been bagged by the OTT platform Zee5. We had covered the same in our previous article about



Uunchai too. The film’s OTT release date is locked now. Uunchai will premiere on the said OTT streaming platform on January 6, 2023, i.e, the coming Friday.

Zee5, on their Twitter, made the OTT release date announcement and has asked everyone to brace themselves for an adventurous start of the year (2023)  with the most loved family entertainer. They have also urged one and all to watch the film and rediscover the bond of friendship like never before. The filming of the movie began in October 2021. It was shot in Kargil, Delhi, Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh. And also at various locations in Nepal, including Kathmandu and Lukla.
