Angelina Jolie criticise Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, says 'Families are being murdered'

Angelina Jolie recently took to social media and shared her thoughts on the Gaza War. She mentioned that Israel is responsible for the "deliberate bombing of a trapped population". Along with that, she posted a picture depicting the destruction that happened in the Jabalia refugee camp.

Angelina Jolie is widely known for her humanitarian work. The 'Salt' actress took to Instagram and condemned the Israeli air strikes in Gaza, describing it as the 'deliberate bombing of a trapped population'. In a recent Instagram post, she shared a photo depicting the devastation caused by an airstrike at Jabalia, Gaza's largest refugee camp.

She wrote, "This is the deliberate



bombing of a trapped population who have nowhere to flee. Gaza has been an open-air prison for nearly two decades and is fast becoming a mass grave. 40% of those killed are innocent children. Whole families are being murdered (sic)."

The actress continued, "While the world watches and with the active support of many governments, millions of Palestinian civilians - children, women, families - are being collectively punished and dehumanized, all while being deprived food, medicine and humanitarian aid against international law. By refusing to demand a humanitarian ceasefire and blocking the UN Security Council from imposing one on both parties, world leaders are complicit in these crimes (sic)."
