New Delhi: International Film Festival of India, IFFI today announced the films and juries for the festival which will be held in Goa from 20th of this month. Addressing media in New Delhi this evening, Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley said Spain is the focus country this time. He said the film festival will show case 187 films from 89 countries in world cinema section along with 26 feature and 21 non feature films in
Indian Panorama section.
'The Man Who Knew Infinity', written and directed by Matthew Brown would be the opening film of IFFI. Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor will be the Chief Guest for the opening ceremony. The International Competition will have 15 films including two films from Indian Panorama section. The jury for the international competition includes Chairperson Shekhar Kapur, along with Michael Radford, Julia Jentch, and Suha Arraf.
