AR Rahman's ex-wife Saira Banu hospitalised, undergoes emergency surgery

AR Rahman’s ex-wife Saira Banu recently underwent surgery after she was hospitalised due to a medical emergency. The news about Saira’s health was announced via an official statement by her lawyer, Vandana Shah.

“On behalf of our client, Mrs Saira Rahman, Vandana Shah and Associates issues the following statement regarding her



current health condition. A few days ago Mrs Saira Rahman was hospitalised due to a medical emergency and underwent surgery. During this challenging time, her sole focus is on a speedy recovery (sic),” the statement read.

Saira's lawyer also thanked everyone for their prayers and support, including AR Rahman, Resul Pookutty and his wife Shadia.
