Bahubali 2 trailer creates new record with more than 1.2 cr hits in just eight hours

The 2.24-minute theatrical trailer of Bahubali 2: The Conclusion has created a new record, with more than 1.2 crore hits on YouTube within eight hours of its release on Thursday.

Movie buffs said that the trailer has shattered the record of the Rajnikanth-starrer Kabali. However, the film unit said the trailer was supposed to be released on Thursday evening, but was accidentally released at 10 am due to a bug. 

“We are trying to find out what



happened,” director S S Rajamouli said, ruling out a piracy angle.The trailer was to be released during a press conference at 5 pm, but the Tamil version was leaked, forcing the film unit to go ahead with the release of all other versions simultaneously. 

“Million thanks to viewers all over the world. Bahubali 2 teaser is creating history,” Rajamouli tweeted after the trailer created a new record.

The movie is slated for release on April 28.
