Bandra Police recorded statements of 13 people in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. Initial reports confirmed that the 34-year-old actor was battling depression for the last six months. The postmortem report, issued by Cooper Hospital, confirmed asphyxiation due to hanging as Sushant's cause of death.

Police is investigating the case further to ascertain what led the actor into depression and the subsequent suicide. However, they've said that they haven't found any foul play so far.

Bandra police has recorded statements of 13 people in Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case. Today they recorded the statements of Sushant's close friend Rhea Chakraborty, Radhika Nihalani, from the PR agency



Think Ink, which handled the PR of the late actor, and his former business manager, Shruti Modi.

Rhea Chakraborty's was questioned for long, The actress was at the police station since 11 am and left around at 7 in the evening.

The police is presently trying to find out the reasons behind Sushant's suicide. The late actor's father and three sisters didn't make any complaints regarding anyone to police when they recorded their statements on June 16.

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Monday said that the police will look into all angles pertaining to Sushant's suicide. They will also probe into actor's professional rivalry brought to light by the media.
