Bigg Boss 11: Salman Khan's show begins with a dhamaka

Bigg Boss 11 had a grand premiere Sunday evening as Salman Khan began the show by introducing commoner and celeb contestants. And the show was an entertainer on the day one itself!

Salman Khan comes on stage, on cycle. He welcomes everyone and says that many things have changed. He says, "I am cycling in a suit ". 

Salman says, "People used to ask me when I am getting married. but now they ask if I am doing Bigg Boss. I am here, we are all here." 

Salman said people have realized BB and marriage are similar. What BB wants they have to do, BB decides their food and morning times.. He said he is therefore good being single. 

Salman said it takes 9 months for a new season



to come around, last season’s contestants are secure in their lives now. He said there is a difference between movie collection and TRPs of serials. Stars bring people to the theatre but bringing people to TV, is much difficult. 

Salman said audience for BB is growing, and to be ready for the new season. Salman starts dancing to his songs with BB’s ex-contestants.

There are 15 contestants on the show this time - TV actors Shilpa Shinde, Hiten Tejwani, Hina Khan, Priyank Sharma, VJ Benafsha Soonawalla , Jyoti Kumari, Sshivani Durgah, Sapna Choudhary, Puneesh Sharma, Zubair Khan, Akash Anil Dadlani , Sabyasachi Satyapathi, Luv Tyagi, Mehjabi Siddiqui and Lucinda Nicholas.
