Salman Khan's reality show 'Bigg Boss 17' is set to feature a twist this 'Weekend Ka Vaar', with Karan Johar stepping in as the host. Karan Johar will reportedly confront Ankita Lokhande and Mannara Chopra regarding their treatment of Munawar Faruqui.

In the recently released show's promo, Mannara gets criticised by Karan for seeking validation for her friendship and for not supporting Munawar after his nomination by Anurag. Karan labels her actions as hypocritical and accuses her of double standards. He says, "Mannara Chopra, jiska ek hi kaam hai, dosti ka validation manga. Aapne Anurag se ek baar bhi nahi poocha ki why did he nominate your so-called best friend in the house. Ye kya friendship hai? Isse kehte hai friendship? According to me, it's hypocrisy. It's called having double standards. (Mannara Chopra, whose sole

purpose seems to be seeking validation for friendship, has never once asked Anurag why he nominated your so-called best friend in the house. What kind of friendship is this? Is this what friendship is supposed to be? According to me, it's hypocrisy. It's called having double standards.)

Meanwhile, Karan questions Ankita about her feelings towards Munawar, while Ankita defends herself, stating that she is an emotional person. She also mentioned how she is extremely possessive, to which Karan Johar says, "Main aisi hi hu, main emotional hu, mujhe bura lagta hai toh main much pe bol dungi; ye paunch line sirf hum sunte hai. Aapke actions mein dikhe nahi. (I am just like that, I am emotional. If something bothers me, I will speak up about it. These lines are just something we just hear. It's not visible through your actions)"
