Winner of Bigg Boss Telugu season 7, Pallavi Prashanth, was arrested on Wednesday in Hyderabad in connection with a vandalism incident.
After Pallavi Prashanth was declared the winner of the show, his fans allegedly attacked the car of the reality show's runner-up, Amardeep Chowdary.
The police have filed multiple cases against those involved, including Prashanth, who is listed as the primary accused (A1), and his brother Manohar (A2). The authorities are also working on identifying other individuals through CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts.
On December 17, the Bigg Boss Telugu 7 grand
finale concluded with Pallavi Prashanth as the winner, who secured the title and a cash prize of Rs 35 lakh.
Following the announcement, Amardeep Chowdary emerged as the runner-up in the season.
However, the post-finale celebration took an unexpected turn as a large crowd gathered outside the Annapurna Studio in Hyderabad.
On his way home with his mother and actress-wife Tejaswini, Amardeep Chowdary's car was allegedly surrounded by fans of Pallavi Prashanth.
The situation escalated as the fans allegedly attacked his car, resulting in the breaking of the windshield.
