Bhagalpur: On Thursday, 25 people were booked by the Bihar Police for allegedly demonstrating against the Pathaan movie in front of a theater in the state's Bhagalpur.
According to the police, "Legal action is being taken against 10 people and 15 unknown people by registering a case on the charge of protesting against the film Pathan" at the Jogsar police station.
A day before Pathaan's release, miscreants thought to be members of Hindu organizations tore and burned the movie's poster outside the
Deepprabha theater in Bhagalpur, Bihar.
The posters in the cinema hall were torn up and set on fire by members of Hindu youth organizations, who chanted "Film Chalega Hall Jalega."
The young people asserted that Hindutva cannot be compromised. The Hindu group's members stated, "Nothing that opposes the Sanatan culture will be tolerated in Bhagalpur or throughout India."
The group's members added that if Pathan is shown in any Bhagalpur theaters, they will strongly oppose it.
