Blackpink's K-pop star Lisa will reportedly become the first Korean artiste to perform at the Oscars. She will be accompanied by Doja Cat and Raye.
The news was shared by the official handle of the Academy on X with a caption that read, "Three global superstars. One epic #Oscars moment. Doja Cat, LISA of Blackpink, and RAYE take the stage for a showstopping celebration of cinema. Watch the Oscars LIVE Sunday, March 2, at 7e/4p on ABC and Hulu, with Conan O’Brien
hosting. Expect the unexpected—only at the Oscars (sic)."
As per reports, Lisa will be performing her latest track, Born Again. The song was initially released on February 7. Wicked stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande will also grace the stage as performers.
The 2025 ceremony of the Oscars will be hosted by long-time TV host and presenter Conan O'Brien. The Oscars ceremony will be held in Los Angeles. It will be aired on March 3 live (IST).
