It is that time of the year again when Bollywood celebrities get immersed in the merriment of Ganesh Chaturthi. Many celebrities welcome Lord Ganesha's idols at their homes with great pomp and show and serve him by keeping him for a limited period. 

Shilpa Shetty, Neil Nitin Mukesh and others have already brought Bappa home and are gearing up to celebrate the festival today. On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay devgn and others took to social media to extend warm wishes to the fans on the occasion. Sharing old photos of him and son Abhishek Bachchan, Big B wrote, "Ganpati Bappa Moraya."

Actor Sanjay Dutt is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in a simple manner with family this year. The actor tweeted a picture on Saturday featuring him with wife Maanayata, standing in front Ganpati decorations at home. "The celebrations aren't as huge as they used to be every year but the faith in Bappa remains the same. I wish that this auspicious festival removes all the obstacles from our lives and bless us all with health and happiness. Ganpati Bappa Morya," he captioned the image.

Actress Madhuri Dixit extended her heartfelt wishes on Ganesh Chaturthi. She wrote, "गणपती बाप्पा मोरया...Bappa's arrival will be a little different this year as we fight through the pandemic. I'm remembering moments from previous years' celebrations



with friends, family & on sets. Wish you all a very blessed #GaneshChaturthi. Celebrate responsibly & stay safe".

Akshay Kumar urges fans to follow safety precautions while celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. He tweeted, "#HappyGaneshChaturthi to you and your family. Please continue maintaining social distancing, avoid inviting people home and visiting people’s homes.  May our Vighnaharta help us tide over these difficult times Ganpati Bappa Morya!".
