Aayush Sharma has clarified why he had decided to move out from Salman Khan Films (SKF). The actor had made his debut with ‘Loveyatri’, which was backed by SKF, followed by ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ (another SKF production). He will next be seen in ‘Ruslaan’.

Aayush Sharma, who is Salman Khan’s brother-in-law, was roped in for ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, but decided to not be a part of the film. Addressing rumours of fallout with Salman Khan, he told Bollywood Hungama, “It is not like that, it is my house. No actor works with only one production house. Honestly, it is very funny, but my choices have been in a lot of discussions. There are many actors who have worked in their comfort zone, worked with a particular production house, then went out, then went back to the same production house. I wanted to step out, my intention is to go out there.”

“I cannot keep working only in the family, in a closed set-up, because then

my growth would also be stunted. It was a conscious decision to move out of the family for some time to work outside. It was important for me to grow, learn myself, evolve and be worthy enough to be called back,” he added.

Aayush Sharma played the lead in ‘Antim’, which also featured Salman Khan. He admits that he has been lucky. “You don’t get to play such an important role in your second film, in a movie which has Salman. It was not a guest appearance of 5-7 minutes, he was an important character in the film. Somewhere down the line, the story revolves around my character. This opportunity you don’t get (often), but I got it. I have to be grateful, understand that this is the biggest support I can ever get. Now the journey has to be mine,” he said.

He will next be seen in ‘Ruslaan’. Produced by KK Radhamohan, the cast also includes Sushrii Mishraa and Telugu star Jagapathi Babu. ‘Ruslaan’ will hit the screens on April 26.
