Celebrity gynaecologist Rustom Soonawala who delivered Raha, Taimur, Vamika dies at 95

Taimur Ali Khan, the first child born to Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in 2016, immediately won over the paparazzi. The physician Kareena and Saif selected to deliver their first child, Taimur, made headlines at the time of his birth. A favourite of many Bollywood families, gynaecologist Dr Rustom Soonawala, delivered Taimur and in an intriguing turn of events, his mother Kareena Kapoor Khan as well. However, Dr Rustom took his last breathes on January 5, this year. The Padma Shri recipient died at the age of 95.

was one of the celebrated gynaecologists of Mumbai. The Kapoor family particularly favoured Dr Soonawala, and they trusted his enchanted hands to deliver nearly every child born in the family, including Karisma Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. 

Not just senior Kapoor's but the Padma Shri recipient also welcomed their kids into this world. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's bundle of joy Raha Kapoor was also delivered by Dr Rustom. Not only Kareena Kapoor Khan but also Anushka Sharma opted for Dr Rustom. Yes! Virat Kohli's firstborn Vamika Kohli was also brought into this world by Dr Rustom Soonawala.
