Ram Charan and Kiara Advani's upcoming film 'Game Changer' is one of the highly anticipated ones. Ahead of the release, the film has been making a strong buzz after a 30-second song of the movie was leaked online. As expected, fans were thrilled to listen to the track and shared it across various social media platforms. However, it was also reported that the leaked version was not the final version of the song, and was just the first copy sung by track singers.
Following the viral song, the makers took a legal route and filed a complaint. However, more than a month after the
incident, it has been reported that the Cyber Police have arrested two individuals who are responsible for the leak. They have also issued a warning against engaging in any such leaks in the future.
The makers have also announced that the first single from the film, titled 'Jaragandi' will be released on Diwali. The song has been composed by Thaman S, and will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
The makers of the film had taken legal action. The production house shared a copy of the complaint on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "A criminal case has been filed under IPC 66(C) against the people who leaked the contents of our film #GameChanger. We request you to refrain from spreading the inferior quality content which has been illegally leaked (sic)."
According to reports, the song was made on a very high budget of almost Rs 15 crore. Shankar and his team were working from Chennai on this film, and reports suggest that the leak may have happened from there.
