Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan will reunite for the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood film, The Intern. The remake will be directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and produced by Sunir Kheterpal and Deepika.
Deepika shared a poster on Instagram to announce the film. She wrote, "What an
absolute honour to be collaborating with one of my most special co-star again! Welcoming @amitabhbachchan to the Indian adaptation of #TheIntern."
The Intern is a 2015 comedy-drama, which starred Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway in lead roles. The film was written and produced by Nancy Meyers.
