Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone has expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his commitment to mental health awareness through his initiative Pariksha Pe Charcha. She thanked the Prime Minister on social media, acknowledging his efforts in supporting the cause.

"Thank you Honourable Prime Minister @narendramodi for your commitment towards the cause of mental health. I look forward to launching our episode tomorrow @tlllfoundation (sic)," she wrote.

Padukone, who has been an advocate for mental health awareness through her Live Love Laugh Foundation, will be launching a special episode discussing the importance of mental well-being.

In a video shared online, the actor can be seen engaging with school children, sharing insights from her own life. She

recalled, “Main bohot hi naughty bachchi thi. Main humesha sofas pe, tables pe, chair pe chad ke kudna... Kabhi kabhi hum bohot stress ho jaate hain. Jaise main Maths mein bilkul weak thi aur aaj bhi hoon." (I was a naughty kid at school who used to jump around sofas, tables, and chairs. We also get stressed a lot. Like I was so weak in Maths and still am.)

Quoting Modi’s book Exam Warriors, she emphasised the importance of expressing one’s emotions rather than suppressing them. "Jaise Narendra Modi ji ne apne kitaab Exam Warriors mein likha hain, ‘Express never suppress.’ (Just like how Narendra Modi ji has written in his book, Exam Warriors, 'express never suppress') So always express yourself whether it is with your friends, family, parents, teachers. Journaling is a great way to express yourself," she advised.
