Director Lokesh Kanagaraj suffered a minor injury on his leg while promoting his latest film, 'Leo', in Kerala, prompting the local police to control the crowd who broke the restrictions.
Featuring Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan, 'Leo' is on a historic box office run and has already surpassed the milestone of Rs 400 crore worldwide. Not just that, the film has emerged as the highest grosser worldwide on day one for any Indian film.
Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’ has scripted history. The film, which was released in theatres on October 19, has
become the highest-grossing opener worldwide for any Indian film. To celebrate the success and promote the film, Lokesh Kanagaraj visited the Aroma Theatre in Palakkad, Kerala, where he suffered a minor injury.
Sharing about the same on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, "Thank you Kerala for your love. Overwhelmed, happy and grateful to see you all in Palakkad. Due to a small injury in the crowd, I couldn’t make it to the other two venues and the press meeting. I would certainly come back to meet you all in Kerala again soon. Till then, continue enjoying #Leo with the same love (sic)."
