‘Double iSmart’ to release on August 15 after Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ postponed

Ustaad Ram Pothineni and director Puri Jagannadh’s sequel of their blockbuster ‘iSmart Shankar’ has finally got a release date. The makers today came up with an update on the film’s release date. ‘Double iSmart’ will now release on Independence Day, August 15. This comes after Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ was postponed just a few days back.

Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ is one of the biggest releases of the year and with the film being postponed, several makers rushed to take the coveted Independence Day slot. There’s not just



a holiday on Thursday, but another holiday on Monday (Raksha Bandhan). That will allow ‘Double iSmart’ to enjoy a 4-day weekend.

The announcement was made along with a release date poster that shows Ram Pothineni in a power-packed avatar. He is seen sporting 3 horizontal lines of Vibhooti. We can also see a Shiva Lingam and a flambeau in the background.

The makers unveiled the film’s teaser earlier. The film ‘Double iSmart’ promises to be double the madness of the prequel, in terms of action and entertainment.
