Social media influencer Elvish Yadav has been summoned by the National Commission for Women over alleged racist remarks against actor Chum Darang. The YouTuber has been asked to appear before the NCW on Monday, February 17.

Commission for Women (APSCW) strongly condemned Elvish’s derogatory and racist remarks against Bigg Boss 18s Chum Darang.

In a letter to the women’s panel, APSCW chairperson Kenjum Pakam stated that the remarks were not just an insult to Chum but also to women across Northeast India.
