Actor Jack Axelrod, who is best known for playing the mob boss Victor Jerome on General Hospital and had guest roles in shows such as Grey's Anatomy and My Name is Earl, has died. He was 93.
Jack's representative confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that he died due to 'natural causes' in Los Angeles. Axelrod died on November 28, as per his representative.
"I had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with him in his last years, as he had no immediate family. We
spent much time outdoors, where Jack loved to sketch, read news articles, and recite Shakespearean sonnets," Jack's representative Jennifer Garland told EW.
Apart from his stints in aforecited shows, Jack also starred in Kojak, Hill Street Blues, Dallas, Dynasty, Night Court, Murphy Brown, Everybody Loves Raymond, Star Trek: Voyager, Frasier among more.
As far as movies are concerned, Jack Axelrod appeared in Hancock, Super 8 and Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
