Guneet Monga to produce documentary on Honey Singh after winning an Oscars

India brought home not one, but two Oscars this time. While RRR won the golden statuette for Naatu Naatu, Guneet Monga-produced The Elephant Whisperers won the Oscar for Best Documentary Short. After making the country proud, Guneet is now all set to back a bare-it-all docu-film based on the life of Indian rapper Honey Singh. The same will delve deep into his rise and abrupt fall.

Guneet Monga made the country proud by winning the prestigious Oscar award for short film, The Elephant Whisperers, available on Netflix. After the big win, she is all set to back a documentary based on the life of Honey Singh.

The documentary will



have Honey Singh take a deep-dive into his life and sudden disappearance at the peak of his career. The same will be produced by the Oscar-award-winning Sikhya Entertainment (Guneet Monga) and directed by Mozez Singh. The rapper will take his fans through the unseen and unheard chapters of his life with his raw and candid revelations that capture his highs and lows.

The docu-film will also capture his personal and professional journeys, coupled with behind the scenes moments straight from Hirdesh Singh aka Yo Yo Honey Singh. There will be quotes and anecdotes from his family members, friends and music collaborators who have been by his side through it all.
