Gurmeet Choudhary to play Maharana Pratap in new series Maharana

Gurmeet Choudhary is still remembered by his fans as Lord Ram. It was the first brush for the actor with a period drama and it turned out to be a hit. Now, he is all set to be back in a period drama, this time as Maharana Pratap. He will play the titular role in Disney+Hotstar’s upcoming series, Maharana. The first teaser of the show is also out.

Gurmeet Choudhary opened up about playing the role of Maharana Pratap and said, “It’s an honour to work on a project that is connected to the roots of India. Maharana Pratap was known for his courage and bravery. I am very happy to get a chance to know more about his life. It is also a challenge to portray a strong character like Maharana Pratap himself. I am thankful to Disney+ Hotstar and Nitin Desai for giving me this project.”
