Nakuul Mehta is bidding adieu to Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2. While fans of the actor, and of the show would be disappointed with this development, the makers have already roped in the new lead to fill Nakuul’s shoes. It is none other than Hiten Tejwani. The actor has himself confirmed it and also opened up about the pressure of joining the show midway.
Hiten Tejwani has been roped in to play the new Ram in Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2, opposite Disha Parmar. The actor confirmed the news himself and also revealed the kind of pressure he feels about joining a show midway. Talking to ETimes, he said, “It’s quite natural to feel the pressure when you are entering a show midway. But I don’t take such pressures in
life. When I take up a role, I want to give it my all. The intention is to do justice to the role. In this case too, I’m hoping for the best.”
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Nakuul Mehta said he was ready to move on from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, but the journey was 'enriching and satisfying'. "The show got a lot of love though many people had doubts when we started because we took on an iconic show (and remade it). But for it to have the journey and reach out to people the way it has, I think has been truly special. I feel creatively full having been a part of it for so long. The story is going to places and I feel going ahead there’s nothing new I can bring to it. I will miss playing Ram," he said.
