Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter release pushed to Jan 2024

Prabhas' Salaar and the Hrithik Roshan-led Figher were set to clash at the box office on September 28, 2023. This, however, is no longer happening as the latter has been delayed to January, 2024. In other words, Salaar is set to be solo release and enjoy a five-day extended weekend. This might help the biggie secure big numbers if the content is up to the mark. Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, will not be clashing with Prabhas' Salaar at the box office. The Siddharth Anand-helmed biggie has been pushed back to January 25, 2024. This is likely to work in Salaar's favour. Prashanth Neel's magnum will now be a solo release and benefit from a longish weekend. While this should help it put up good numbers initially, its fate is likely to depend on the word of mouth.
