'I secretly prayed' for Alia-Ranbir's win at Filmfare Awards: Neetu Kapoor

The year was 2019. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor weren't married yet. However, both made headlines after they couldn't stop looking at each other on the Filmfare stage after winning the Best Actor (male and female) awards for their roles in 'Raazi' and 'Sanju'. Neetu Kapoor then, had added fuel to their dating rumours by congratulating them together on social media. And last night, history repeated itself after Alia and Ranbir went on to lift the same trophy, but for different roles. And Neetu



Kapoor, as usual, congratulated them together on Instagram.

Neetu Kapoor wished Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt after both won Filmfare Awards for their performance in 'Animal' and 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', respectively. She posted then and now photos from Alia-Ranbir's 2019 Filmfare win and wrote, "I secretly prayed n wished a repeat of 2019 ( Sanju raazi ) so happy it happened again !!! Congratulations both of you proud very very proud #animal #rockyranikipremkahani (sic)."
