Indian actor Emraan Hashmi revealed recently that he once waited for 1.5 hours outside Aishwarya Rai's trailer to catch a glimpse of her as he was completely starstruck.
Speaking to Connect FM Canada, the Tiger 3 actor shared, "I have been starstruck by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Actually, I had never done this before. I waited outside her van when I was an assistant director with my cousin Mohit Suri. He was also an assistant at that time. I waited atleast for one-and-a-half-hours. I had not done that before. It was ridiculous. We were assisting for Raaz but before that I
had seen her film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and I was a huge fan. I wanted to get a glimpse of her.”
Emraan had once called Aishwarya 'plastic' during an earlier appearance on chat show Koffee With Karan. Later, Emraan had given a statement about the same and told Hindustan Times, "I didn’t mean it. I’m a big fan of Aishwarya. It’s the format of the show. I cannot not say things and not win the hamper. I love her. I have always been a great admirer of her work. I knew people would make big deal out of it. So what? People make a big deal out of nonsense all the time.”
