I would ‘love’ to be in Anurag Basu’s Aashiqui 3, says Sara Ali Khan

The Aashiqui franchise is getting its third film and the same was announced in 2022. With filmmaker Anurag Basu at the helm, the film will be led by actor Kartik Aaryan. While the female lead hasn’t been finalised yet, Sara Ali Khan has expressed her wish to star in the movie.

Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan were rumoured to be dating during the filming of their film Love Aaj Kal in 2020. However, the couple parted



ways right before the film’s release.

Recently, while speaking with Connect FM, Sara claimed that though she hasn’t been approached for Aashiqui 3, she would do it if the makers will ever come to her with the movie. She said, “I haven’t been offered Aashiqui 3 as yet but I would love to. If I am offered the film then yes, sure.” Earlier, a few reports suggested that Sara is in talks with the makers of the film.
