Indian Army gives NOC to upcoming film Gadar 2

The Katha Continues is a sequel to the iconic 2001 film, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The film is scheduled for a release on August 11, 2023. Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol are all set to entertain fans again as Sakina and Tara Singh in Gadar 2. The film, directed by Anil Sharma, has now got an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the Indian Army.

As pre-requisite for any army-based



film in India to obtain a No Objection Certificate from the Ministry of Defence Preview Committee before release, the makers of Gadar 2 recently held a special screening of the film. The response they received from the officials was extremely heartwarming. The Ministry of Defence Preview Committee didn’t only give the green light to Gadar 2 but also shared positive words of acclamation for the film.
