Vijay Deverakonda will be seen locking horns with Mike Tyson in his upcoming film, Liger, which has created a great deal of buzz among fans. Kuldep Sethi, who trained the actor for the flick, has now revealed that the young hero took nearly two years to prepare for his scenes with the Baddest Man on the Planet. Liger is a sports drama, written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. It has been shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu and marks Vijay's Bollywood debut.'
Vijay Deverakonda, the star of blockbusters such as Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam, is awaiting the release of Liger. The film has piqued the curiosity of fans with its effective trailer. Mike Tyson makes a cameo appearance in the biggie, something that is touted to be one of its biggest highlights.
Fitness coach Kuldep Sethi has now spilled the beans on how Vijay got into shape for Liger.
Speaking to Indian Express, he said that the star worked on his mental fitness in order to look convincing in his fight sequences with Mike Tyson. Vijay also worked on his lower body and followed the tough regime with the utmost dedication.
"He has fight sequences with Mike Tyson, who is a legend. He was in a very good shape when we were shooting. Puri sir planned fight sequences in such a way that we had a lot of time to prepare Vijay mentally and physically. When you’re in your best shape, you are mentally confident while doing certain things. So, he was very confident towards the end of our programme. He is in the best shape of his life," he added.
