Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam have joined the cast of horror comedy Bhoot Police. The makers of the film made the announced on Thursday. The film also features Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles. It is directed by Pavan Kirpalani. He has earlier helmed films like Phobia and Ragini MMS.
Bhoot Police is produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri. Taurani said in a statement that they were determined to have Jacqueline and Yami on board right from the outset. "They are both amazing artists and we are extremely happy to have them on board."
Bhoot Police will be largely shot across Dharamshala, Dalhousie and
Palampur. Taurani also revealed that they are consulting experts to plan the safety measures to safeguard the entire team from the novel coronavirus. "We aim to wrap 80 per cent of the film during the outdoor schedules. The remaining portions will be shot at a set in Mumbai,” he said.
Talking about Jacqueline and Yami joining the film, Taurani said, "This will be my first collaboration with the entire cast. We need someone to add the craziness to this fun-filled entertainer and both of them will definitely add this magic to the script."
The film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh. It is expected to go on floors by the end of the year.
