Malayalam actor Vinayakan, known for his role as the antagonist in the Rajinikanth starrer 'Jailer,' faced legal trouble when he was arrested in Kerala. The arrest was made on the grounds of causing a disturbance at a police station while allegedly being in an inebriated state. He was taken into custody by the Ernakulam North police for acting uncontrollably in public under the influence of alcohol and for obstructing the normal operations of the police station. Following the arrest, Vinayakan was subsequently released on bail after the necessary legal procedures were carried out.
Vinayakan was summoned to the
police station for questioning in response to complaints regarding a disturbance he allegedly caused at his residence. The complaints suggested that he had behaved disruptively and indecently.
According to ANI, circle Inspector of Police Prathapachandran says, "Actor Vinayakan was released on bail after a case was filed against him for a ruckus at a police station in an inebriated state. A case was registered after a Policeman was assaulted and the station's operations were obstructed. Vinayakan had called the police to his residence last afternoon to resolve the family dispute. Vinayakan was released on bail at 10:30 pm."
