John Abraham's film based on nuclear test goes on floors today

Mumbai: John Abraham, who turned producer with commercially successful and critically acclaimed film 'Vicky Donor', went on to produce many content-driven films post that.

Along with acting, John has efficiently balanced his production stint.

'Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran' is his next project as a producer, which is based on the nuclear test conducted at Pokharan in 1998.

The film stars John Abraham and Diana Penty in the main lead along with Boman Irani playing a very pivotal role.

Talking about the film John Abraham says, "The road to Pokhran has been paved. It's time to embark on a journey to revisit the mission that changed the place of India on the world map & turning the course modern India's position in the world as a strong Nuclear state."

"Our film 'Parmanu - The Story



of Pokhran' will take the audience on a journey to showcase the greatest Nuclear espionage the world witnessed in 1998. A mission where the Indian army, scientists, engineers and satellite experts came together to pull off the greatest covert mission of their times and made the country proud and declared itself as a Nuclear state," added the actor-producer, John Abraham.

India has taken giant leaps in various scientific achievements, since then the Pokhran Nuclear test takes the centerpiece in Indian history!

John's production company JA Entertainment has associated with KriArj Entertainment for this project.

Saiwyn Quadras, writer of the film 'Neerja' and Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh have co-written the script for the movie.

The shoot of the film begins on May 31 and is slated to release on December 8.
