Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut wants the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to decide on the release of her political drama Emergency soon, as she and the other producers of the film are incurring losses due to the delay.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Kangana once again highlighted the lack of support from the film industry around Emergency's release. She said, "The
way I have made the film, I got no support from the film industry. I am the producer of the film along with other partners. A delayed release is a loss for all. Netflix is also calling repeatedly since the film had to release on the platform after the theatrical release."
She added, "I think the censor board should take the responsibility to release this film at the earliest.”
