Kangana Ranaut’s film 'Tejas' yet to take off on Day 1

Kangana Ranaut is back on the screens with ‘Tejas’. The actress played an air force officer, Tejas Gill, in the film that was released on October 27. Now, the Day 1 numbers are here and it looks like the movie is yet to find steady ground to be able to take off.

According to early estimates, ‘Tejas’ collected Rs 1.25 crore across the nation on Day 1. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also reported that on its opening day, the film minted Rs 76 lakh across national chains like PVR Inox and Cinepolis till 10pm. The biz picked up in the evening after a slow start and it can be hoped that the film will register better collections and pick up pace over the weekend.
